Nothing…but to Know Oneself

Not there were no geniuses, not that there was no talent … for example Mathematics was founded in India, but no Albert Einstein was standing up in India. “The whole country, in a miraculous way, was not interested in any objective research”, Osho says “To know the other has not been the goal here, but to know oneself.”

The use of Zero for example has arisen in India. By research it has been found that this was much earlier then until now was assumed. It looks that the zero sign has already been used around the 3e age BC.

Connecting with India needs a meditative mind

By the persistent search in India for knowing oneself, whatever were the costs …a certain noosphere has been created. From a meditative level you can experience a certain ocean of vibrations around you. This means that you don’t have to see India because of its cultural objects like Taj Mahal, Khajuraho, the Himalaya’s.

It is necessary not only to visit but to MEET India

Then you will pass through India, but not meet India. The spheres of India were everywhere but you were not sensitive, you were not receptive. You were only focussed on the skeleton of India, but not on its Soul.”There is a spiritual part” Osho Says “Your cameras cannot photograph is, your training, your education cannot capture it.”

The Ultimate Truth: Sat-chit-anand

In “India My Love” Osho describes that the Ultimate Truth always has been defined as: sat-chit-anand. ‘Sat’ means truth, ‘chit’ means consciousness, and means ‘bliss’. They are all three faces off the same reality. This is the true Trinity, according to Osho. They are not separate phenomena, but one energy expressing in three ways, one energy having three faces. These are the real faces.

First Comes Truth

First comes Truth; as you enter in, you become aware of your eternal reality: sat, truth. As you go deeper in your reality, into your sat, into your truth, you become aware of consciousness, a tremendous consciousness. All is light, nothing is dark. All is awareness, nothing is unawareness. You are just a flame of consciousness, not even a shadow of unconsciousness anywhere. And when you enter still deeper, then the ultimate core is bliss – anand.

The East Has Many Secret Keys

“The East has so many secret Keys, but even a single key is enough, because a single key can open thousands and thousands of locks.” Osho in ‘INDIA MY LOVE’. “India is the only country in the world that valued a bhikshu (beggar) even more than an emperor. A phenomenon like this is not found anywhere else in the world; it is other-wordly. On this earth nobody has considered higher than an emperor. India is the only country where we have given a higher place to a bhikshu than to an emperor.”

An emperor is the peak of sensual pleasure while a bhikshu is at the height of renunciation. An emperor has been collecting things, he has been collecting things like a madman, whereas a bhikshu has not saved anything but himself. An emperor is collecting worldly things whereas a bhikshu is concerned only with his soul. An emperor is lost in worldly pursuits, the bhikshu is on his inner journey…

The Spiritual Part of India

Those countries don’t have the spiritual aura. They have not produced a Gautama Buddha, a Mahavira, a Neminatha, an Adinatha …they have nor produced a Kabir, a Farid, a Dadu. The mystic is not simply a genius, he is a vehicle of the divine, a provocation, an invitation for the divine. He opens the doors for the divine to come in. But to know it, you will have to be in a certain state of mind. When you meditate, try to be silent, you will allow the Real India to come in contact with you.
